Auntie Anne's was looking for a way to motivate associates across the United Stated to give its guests the very best and memorable service. Auntie Anne's is all about making fresh, hot, golden brown pretzels as well as caring for its guests. The company is also all about fun, and wanted a learning solution that reflected its spirit and would be as appealing as their mouthwatering pretzels.
Solution
JPL created a video training program in the style of "Reality TV." Six associates competed against each other in a variety of challenges for the opportunity to be recognized for delivering the best guests relations experience. The program revealing the winner had as many twists as Auntie Anne's pretzels, and kept team members engaged and excited while educating them about providing memorable guest service. It was followed up with support materials to reinforce the program and its key points.
