JPL team members are celebrating the 14th consecutive Best Places to Work in PA win, making JPL one of only two companies in the state to be chosen that many years in a row.
“We are honored to be on the list once again and to be able to use the Best Places employee survey results to measure and improve our workplace,” said Melissa Washington, JPL human resources director.
“We use the feedback to continue to recruit and retain the top talent we need to serve organizations as a leading integrated marketing, communications and learning solutions partner,” she added.
“Clients choose to partner with JPL because of the talent of our people and the service experience they provide,” said JPL President Luke Kempski. “By being a best place to work and being recognized as such, we can attract and retain the team members we need to be successful in a highly competitive and constantly changing business.”
Since 2000, Best Places to Work in Pa has been a celebration of jobs and the employers who provide them. The program is made possible by a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal.
JPL is one of 50 companies selected in the medium-sized category for firms with 25-250 employees. A survey is sent to employers and employees from hundreds of companies in the commonwealth. Using a formula similar to Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America,” the Best Companies Group scores the workplace practices survey along with the employee survey and each candidate firm is given an overall score. Final rankings will be awarded and honored at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony on December 3, 2015 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA.
