JPL earned the number 12 place on the list of medium-sized businesses on the 2012 Best Places to Work in PA list and is an eleven-time consecutive winner. Winning companies were honored last night at the Lancaster County Convention Center.

“It was fun to greet our team members as they came in this morning and share the news,” said JPL President Luke Kempski. “We feel a lot of pride in this recognition and the work environment we’ve created here.” he added.

Since 2000, Best Places to Work in PA has been a celebration of jobs and the employers who provide them. The program is made possible by a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal.

Winning companies achieve the highest combined scores in a twofold evaluation: review of a company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics (25%); and results of an employee survey to measure the employee experience (75%).Using a formula similar to Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America,” the Best Companies Group surveys and scores the workplace practices survey along with the employee survey and each Best Places to Work candidate is given an overall score.

JPL is in the medium-sized category for firms with 25-250 employees.
